Notice the usual YouTube links and branding? It gets worse when the user plays and pauses the video.

Moving on swiftly.

We configure the SmartVideo snippet first, and then add it to ClickFunnels. Don't worry, it's as simple as you'll learn in a jiffy.

How to Configure Your Swarmify Snippet

Log in to your Swarmify dashboard, and click Configuration, as shown below.

Next, choose whether you have YouTube videos on your ClickFunnels pages. Tick Yes and click Next:

After that, choose whether you have background videos, and click Next:

You're doing just fine.

Next, change your SmartVideo player color scheme if necessary, and click Next:

Next, choose player button shape and click Next, as shown below. You have three options namely Default (Hexagon), Rectangle and Circle.

I went with the default shape because I like it, but feel free to choose whatever you fancy.

Next, choose whether you'd like to add a custom watermark, and click Next:

Note: If you choose to add a custom watermark, you have options to add a logo, and decide where and how it will be displayed, as shown below.

On the next screen, choose whether you'd like to display advertisements on your videos, and click Finish.

Pro Tip: If you're using a video in your sales funnel, it's probably a good idea to disable advertisements.

Finally, click Copy to Clipboard:

Now that you have your Swarmify snippet ready, let us add it to ClickFunnels.

How to Install Swarmify On ClickFunnels

Log in to your ClickFunnels dashboard, navigate to Click Funnels and click Funnels (or Build a Funnel, if it's your first time):

Next, click on the funnel with the video:

After that, click the Edit Page button, as shown below.

Navigate to Settings and click Tracking Code:

Next, paste your Swarmify snippet in the popup under Header Code, and click close (x):

After that, click the Save button:

How to Customize the SmartVideo Player Further

You can customize the player further using SmartVideo tags, which allow you to add player controls, autoplay, mute, and loop your video.

Notes:

• Unlike the Swarmify snippet that we added to the header (Settings > Tracking Code > Header Code) in the previous section, you add SmartVideo tags directly where you want to display the video i.e., anywhere inside your page. Don't worry, we have a great ClickFunnels example towards the end.
• If you add autoplay, it's advisable to add muted as well. Otherwise, your video will autoplay with sound, which is annoying. Also, many browsers restrict autoplay if the video is not muted. Finally, don't remove the controls tag or your video player won't have the play button and other controls.
• If you use YouTube as your video source, set videos to unlisted instead of private. Also, use the embed link e.g., https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZfJ7Kv5DblU instead of the direct link e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfJ7Kv5DblU

If you'd like to add a poster image to your video, copy-paste the following code on your page.

To autoplay your video, use the following SmartVideo tag:

To begin playback with audio muted, use:

To make the player unresponsive (fixed width and height), remove class="swarm-fluid" from your tag.

Working ClickFunnels Example

To illustrate how to use SmartVideo tags in ClickFunnel, I created another sample page, where I'm selling trips to Mars :)

I will be replacing the highlighted image of phones with a SmartVideo tag, which will place a clean and clutter-free video player, right there at the top.

Note that you can place your SmartVideo tag anywhere you want, ours is just a quick example.

Customize Your ClickFunnels Funnel

Log in to your ClickFunnels dashboard, navigate to your funnel/page and click Edit Page:

Inside the ClickFunnels Etison editor, I removed the image by mousing over and clicking the Delete button, as shown below:

Next, I clicked Add New Element:

Alternatively, you can add a new element from the Elements tab shown in the image above.

Clicking Add New Element brings up a sidebar. Scroll to the bottom and click Custom JS/HTML, as shown below.

Next, click inside the Custom JavaScript/HTML element, and then Open Code Editor, as we highlight below.

Next, copy-paste your SmartVideo tag in the code editor, and click close (x):

Finally, hit the Save button:

Pro Tip: Don't forget to add your Swarmify snippet into the Settings > Tracking Code > Header Code like we did earlier. You must add the Swarmify snippet to whichever page you're editing for the SmartVideo tag to work.
